In the process of slurry discharge in ball milling, the concentration of the slurry being too high or too low may have adverse effects on processing efficiency and product quality. When the concentration of the slurry discharged is too high, the main reason may be the blockage of the grid plate or screen inside the china ball mill, making it difficult for solid particles to pass smoothly, resulting in a high solid particle content in the slurry. At this time, the problem can be solved by cleaning the grid plate or screen, increasing the flow channel area of the slurry, adjusting the feeding speed, or adjusting the amount of water added. Additionally, reducing the ore level in the mill and appropriately lowering the mill load can also be considered to reduce the residence time of the ore in the mill and thereby lower the concentration of the slurry discharged.
On the contrary, when the concentration of the slurry discharged is too low, it may be due to the screen aperture inside the ball mill being too large, causing too many solid particles to pass through the screen without being ground, while the water content in the slurry is too high, which will also reduce the solid content of the slurry and cause the concentration of the slurry to be too low. To solve this problem, the screen should be replaced or adjusted, and the aperture size of the screen should be properly adjusted. At the same time, the ore level inside the mill should be increased appropriately, the mill load should be increased to increase the residence time of the ore in the mill, improve grinding efficiency, and thereby increase the concentration of the slurry discharged.
It should be noted that the adjustment of the slurry discharge concentration should be based on the specific characteristics of the ore and production requirements in CIC mining machinery manufacturer. Both too high or too low concentrations of slurry discharge will have adverse effects on processing efficiency and product quality. Therefore, it is necessary to monitor and adjust the slurry discharge concentration to ensure that the ore is fully ground and to ensure stable product quality.
