Structural Principle and Technical Advantages of Cement Rotary Kiln

Ⅰ. Structural principle of cement rotary kiln

Rotary kiln for cement is the main equipment for cement production. It is mainly composed of kiln shell, transmission device, supporting device, retaining wheel device, kiln head sealing device, kiln tail sealing device, kiln head cover and other components. Raw meal powder is fed into the kiln shell from the high end of the kiln tail shell. Due to the inclination and slow rotation of the kiln shell, the material produces a compound motion that not only rolls along the circumferential direction, but also moves from the high end to the low end along the axial direction. The raw material is decomposed and fired in the kiln. After the cement clinker is fired, it is unloaded from the lower end of the kiln shell and enters the cooler. The fuel is sprayed from the kiln head and burned in the kiln. The heat generated heats the raw meal and makes the raw meal calcined into clinker. The hot air formed during the heat exchange with the material enters the kiln tail system from the kiln feed end ( preheater and dust collector), and finally discharged into the atmosphere through the chimney.

Ⅱ. Technical advantages of cement rotary kiln

1. High-quality steel, heat-resistant and crack-resistant

The cylinder of the cement rotary kiln is the trunk of the rotary kiln. The cylinder of the rotary kiln is made of steel plates. The kiln body is made of high-quality carbon steel or alloy steel plates and automatically welded; A tangential spring is used to fix a large ring gear on the inner cylinder of the tire belt attachment at the feeding end on the tire belt support device, and a small gear meshes with it. During normal operation, the main drive motor transmits power to the open gear device through the main reducer to drive the rotary kiln.

2. The large gear has a solid structure and runs smoothly

The large ring gear is connected to the kiln shell through a tangential spring plate. This connection structure that allows the large ring gear to hang on the kiln shell can leave enough heat dissipation space between the large ring gear and the kiln shell, and can reduce The influence of bending and deformation of the kiln shell on the meshing accuracy can also play a role in shock absorption and buffering, which is beneficial to prolonging the life of the kiln lining.

3. Large kiln speed and high production capacity

4. Good sealing effect, full use of preheating

The structure of the sealing device adopts two types: labyrinth type and contact type, and the contact type is divided into scale type, graphite block type, cylinder slip ring type and other forms. The sealing effect of the system is good, the waste heat is fully utilized, the environmental protection dust removal is simple and effective, and the clinker quality is high and the heat consumption of firing is low.
