How to Deal with the Failure of Rotary Kiln in Operation?

When the feeding amount is increased, the feeding pipe is easily blocked, and the pouring size of the feeding chamber plate is wrong, which causes the ventilation in the rotary kiln to be blocked, resulting in a serious kiln circle and frequent material discharge at the kiln end. The preheater, flap valve, pipeline and inspection door should be plugged in time to reduce the impact of air leakage on the kiln operation and ensure that the temperature and pressure return to normal operation. Remove the castables and anchors on the slope of the kiln tail smoke chamber and the slab of the unloading chamber, and re-weld the anchors and castables according to thE requirements of kiln design.


4. The phenomenon of "shooting" in the rotary kiln


During ignition, the temperature in the rotary kiln is low, and the coal is not burned well. When the pulverized coal falls to a certain level, the combustion is intense, and the phenomenon of blasting occurs. The method of prevention is to increase the ignition temperature as much as possible, reduce the amount of coal used, and shorten the ignition time. There is too much pulverized coal in the kiln before ignition, and it is easy to fire after ignition. The method of prevention is to minimize or not pass hot air into the kiln before ignition to reduce the sedimentation of pulverized coal. If hot air is required, open the exhaust fan, rotate the rotating kiln at low speed, and discharge the pulverized coal to the outside of the kiln.


5. High temperature of rotary kiln supporting roller bearing


The temperature rise of the bearing bush of the rotary kiln is an emergency, so it is necessary to make timely arrangements so that the best period will not be missed. Special tools for dealing with the temperature rise of supporting roller bearing bushes should also be placed separately. The most common reason for the temperature rise of the bearing bush is due to poor circulating water, small amount or water seepage in the internal circulating water pipe and small gap between the bushings. At the same time, due to the excessive wear of the tire pads and baffles, the unstable operation of the tires is also the cause of the temperature rise of the roller bearing. In the face of the temperature rise of the bearing bush of the supporting roller, take the following countermeasures: discharge the circulating water to the outside, increase the amount of cooling water, at the same time strengthen the lubrication of the contact surface between each retaining roller belt and the supporting roller, and add new lubricating oil; if the temperature of the entire supporting roller is high, Water can be added to the water tank below the supporting roller to cool down; if the temperature at the shaft shoulder or thrust ring is high, the running state of the hydraulic retaining wheel can be changed.


6. Rotary kiln ring


The knot ring is divided into the front knot ring and the clinker ring. The front ring is the ring formed at the end of the firing zone of the rotary kiln, while the clinker ring is the ring formed between the firing zone and the exothermic reaction zone in the kiln, that is, the large ring formed in the rotary kiln for cement. When the clinker enters the cooling zone, the high-temperature clinker with liquid phase covers the lower temperature end kiln skin, and it will bond quickly and become thicker and thicker, forming a front ring. The clinker ring is formed in the clinker calcination process, the amount of liquid phase appearing in the temperature range is too large, thus forming the clinker ring. When the ring position is far away from the feeding port, the exhaust air can be turned off, and the feeding amount can not be reduced. Just pull out the coal injection pipe to burn it. When the kiln skin in the kiln is long and thick or has a slight ring root, pull the coal injection pipe out, move the position of the combustion zone, reduce the temperature of the ring part, change the position of the coal ash deposition, make the thick and long kiln skin gradually fall off.
